Bleeding Head Good, Healed Head Bad

Mr. Shane Mehling (above), formerly of the Playing Enemy Mehlings, had the following kind words to say about us in the pages of the Decibel heavy metal magazine:

Radiation Blackbody- S/T 12"
Ultraviolet Catastrophe

Even if you're a diehard Anodyne and Defeatist fan, you have no idea what the rhythm section of both those bands, Joel Stallings and Joshua Scott, are capable of. This bass and drums instrumental landslide features nine ruthless math-noise tracks that not only showcase their intimidating talent but reach levels of heaviness you wouldn't think possible with a mere two (or three or four) dudes. If you're curious what it feels like to have a sock full of half dollars whipped at your trachea, pick up one of these three hundred copies immediately.

We have some live events in the planning stages, so check back for updates.

Live Event in Another Town

A treasure of warm eggs. We are finally playing a show out of town.

This free event will occur Saturday October 23rd, at the Crane Room (Paige Hall) at Tufts University. I took the liberty of copying the following from another site.

Useful information:

Castevet (NYC)
Witch Tomb (MA)
Radiation Blackbody (NYC)
Livver (MA)
Sharpwaist (MA)

7pm | ALL AGES | FREE

Directions: Red line to Davis. Exit to College Ave (a left out the turnstiles). Follow College Ave all the way to the Tufts Campus (College Ave is the third exit at the Powderhouse Rotary). At 243 College Ave, take the stairs on the left. Paige Hall is on the right.

We would be pleased to see you and your friends and your collection of unearthed eggs. We will bring copies of the LP and chalk for drawing.

Acid Cross

Five new songs recorded and mixed this past weekend via Colin at Menegroth. Will likely see release as a 17 minute 45 RPM 12" at some point next year. We would prefer earlier rather than later 2011.

We are also playing a special dual birthday party at Menegroth this Friday. The happy birthday fever/frequencies of the set will also extend to a third, Mr Schulmerich, who is heading for the mountains.
